A Bit About Me
Prof. Patrick Develtere is professor at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium. He was a principal advisor at the European Political Strategy Center of the European Commission under the J.-C. Juncker administration. He has also been the Executive President of the Belgian Christian Workers’ Movement (beweging.net), the largest civil society network in Belgium. Patrick continues to be involved in several cooperatives and social enterprises. He has also done extensive research on cooperatives both in the Global North and the Global South. His latest publication is “International Development Cooperation Today: A Radical Shift Towards a New Paradigm”, LUP, 2021.
