Making sense of the air we breathe: Nakuru's air quality charter takes shape!
Since July 2025, a growing network of air-quality sensors has been quietly documenting the atmosphere of Nakuru. Today, twenty-two RESPIRA-AQM Nakuru sensors operate across the city, with at least two in every ward, alongside five sensors managed by the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). Through a collaboration with the University of Nairobi, another five sensors will soon join the network.
